Manufactured in 1997, this particular Citori Skeet Golden Clays is in beautiful condition and features 28" barrels, Invector Plus choke system (includes modified and improved cylinder chokes), ventilated rib, blued finish on the barrels, ported barrels, checkered walnut forend, checkered walnut stock, gold single select trigger, gold inlays on receiver, and grade IV engraved receiver. The original gloss-bluing on the barrels is in excellent condition with miniscule amounts of wear around the muzzle and various hairline handling marks along the barrels. The grade IV engraved receiver is in superb condition with the only visible wear on the bottom of the trigger guard. The engraving depicts a transitional game pigeon to clay pigeon scene on both sides of the receiver, as well as sporting clays and the word "Skeet" inlayed in gold on the bottom of the receiver. The beautiful checkered stock and forend retain their original gloss finish and show no signs of finish cracking/peeling. The forend is in excellent condition with the exception of some various handling marks and one visible scuff along the right side. The stock is in equally as excellent condition with the exception of light handling marks/scratches only visible in the right light. The checkering on both the forend and stock is still sharp with extremely minimum wear. The single select trigger retains 99% of its original gold finish with very light fading and scuffing along the front face. The factory butt plate has been replaced with a LimbSaver recoil pad by the previous owner. The bore and chambers of both barrels are in excellent condition and appear well cared for. The breechface is in equally as excellent condition with minimum signs of wear and shooting. All the mechanical aspects of this shotgun function 100% including the ejectors, safety/barrel selector, and trigger. This Citori locks up extremely tight and has no hinge play or wobble. This particular model was only manufactured from 1993 to 1999. if you have been looking for a classy and well-made 12 gauge over and under shotgun that you can carry with pride to any skeet field or upland game hunt, this Citori Skeet Golden Clays would be an excellent choice. Includes Browning travel case.
