**Sale Pending** Keith Stegall Custom Pre-64 Model 70, .280 IMP., 23″ medium weight sporter barrel is stamped “K. Stegall” and caliber at left rear, pre-64 Winchester Model 70 action is in standard configuration with Redfield mounts installed, action, floorplate, and trigger guard have full coverage of nicely cut acanthus scroll engraving, bolt body and follower has been engine turned, with bolt knob high polished, floorplate has well done center Greater Kudu in relief with brush with stippled background, the initials “DLP” are inlaid in gold on trigger guard bow (no engravers signature is evident), nicely marbled European walnut, pistol grip, 13 1/2″ LOP over ribbed and matching engraved steel trap door (with 3 cartridge hold) Neidner style buttplate, matching fully engraved grip cap, cheekpiece with deep shadow line, nicely cut point pattern borderless checkering with “lightning bolt” ribbons through pattern. barrel channel is stamped “KStegall”. Rifle is mounted with Leupold 2x7 Vari-X II duplex reticle scope in Redfield rings. Weight without scope 8 lbs 2 oz., with scope 9 lbs. Excellent condition with metal retaining nearly all its custom finish, stock has a few minor marks and scratches, bore is excellent.
