Description:
Very rare 12ga game gun with most interesting factory original single selective trigger. This gun made with splinter forend, factory original single selective trigger, auto ejectors, straight grip buttstock. 28" fluid steel barrels. The gun is fabuloustly engraved in full coverage foliate scroll with beautiful floral sculpted sideclips. The trigger selector is on the left sidelock is unique and I have not seen another like it. This gun likely made in the 1920's or early 30's I would guess. Not marked on the outside of the gun, but stamped on the breechface with makers mark.
The selector on the left side is marked in gold "D" (Droit) for "Right" "G" (guache) for left, and "S" for "Safe".
The gun remains in excellent original condition with nearly all of the original case color remaining. The barrels are excellent with virtually all of the original blue remaining and mirror bright bores. Stocks are sound and retain most of their finishes with only very minor handling marks. Mechanics are crisp and trigger works well.
