Sold. . antique 1886 Winchester carbine in 38-56
i have cartridges for this carbine and they are easily accessible. I’ve hunted with this cartridge and it does well. About as well as the 40-82.
This antique carbine certainly was someone’s go to for putting meat on the table. Bore is about a 4. Should still spin a bullet. I can shoot it for someone if they want. Top tang has a extra screw in it. ??
1886 carbines are rare with only about 6000 being made.
