sold (KC) Smith & Wesson first model double action chambered in 44 Russian. Manufacturer date approximately 1891 with mother of pearl grips. Mechanically it functions as it should in both single action and double action. A great affordable option for the beginner collector or The collector that wants a shooter piece without worrying about depreciating their investment. Refer to pictures for condition. This is not a 95% collector firearm Condition showing the 130 years of age in color and appearance. A very affordable Cowboy six-shooter that is actually much scarcer than the far more expensive Colts, .44 S&W caliber.. This gun has been there and done that and still has some life left in it. A good gun to get out and enjoy.
