Description:
This is an oustanding Colt 1917 manufactured in 1918. All original finish. The original machine marks are clearly visible. Excellent shiny bore. Small amounts of wear on the finish from use over time. There are some brown spots on the left side of the frame near the colt marking, but it is not rust. It seems to be some oil build up that I have not bothered to clean since I don't want to mess with it too much. The serial number indicates it was put into service April, 1918. All markings are correct. The grips are original with the SN written in pencil on the inside of one. Please let me know if you have any questions or need more photos.
