Description:
On Hold Sale Pending Original  US Springfield Model 1816 musket dated 1832 converted to percussion prior to the civil war.  The lock is marked US Springfield 1832 and works fine.  The full length 42 inch barrel  has a brown patina in 69 caliber smooth bore. The full length 3 band dark walnut stock is in good condition.  The but plate is marked US.  All metal parts have a brown patina with scattered pitting mostly near the nipple.  The musket is complete with sling swivels.  These early muskets were often used well into the civil war.  Feel free to contact me with any questions.  Shipping will be actual cost approximately $50.00.  On Hold Sale Pending
