The lock is marked US Springfield 1832 and works fine. The full length 42 inch barrel has a brown patina in 69 caliber smooth bore. The full length 3 band dark walnut stock is in good condition. The but plate is marked US. All metal parts have a brown patina with scattered pitting mostly near the nipple. The musket is complete with sling swivels.
