On Hold Sale Pending Austrian M1842 Civil War import percussion approximately 70 caliber musket originally issued in tube lock and converted to percussion in the 1850s and most likely sold to the US or confederacy for use during the civil war. The lock is dated 1851 and functions fine. The full length barrel has the tang mounted rear sight and band front sight. The dark full 3 band wood stock is very good. All metal parts have smooth brown patina.. This musket appears complete with sling swivels and ramrod in very good original condition. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
