SOLD This is a Remington New Model five shot .31 cap and ball Pocket Pistol in the original percussion configuration. It has a low serial number, 2015, and was made early in the production run toward the end of the Civil War. It is in good condition, and has good character and presentation. It has sharp clicks when being cocked and holds well on all chambers. Grips are good. Bore ok and should clean up even better. This is an excellent New Model Pocket revolver that was not converted to .32 RimFire as the vast majority of these were. Seldomly encountered in the original configuration, and far more rare than a Remington Army or Navy. There might be twenty-five 1858 .44 New Model Army's listed for sale most any time, with only one or possibly two New Model Pocket pistols available. Antique and ships direct to qualified buyers in jurisdictions where acquisition and possession are legal for the buyer. Buyer affirms he is so qualified.
