Colt Woodsman Match Target, .22 Long Rifle, 6 inch barrel~ 1950 manufacture date
This beautiful Colt target pistol is such a classy pistol to own and exceptionally accurate to shoot.
Chambered in .22 Long rifle and a 6 inch target barrel. The blued finish is in very good condition with all Colt markings visible and bright, the bore is clean and the action is smooth.
This pistol comes with two original Colt magazines, Coltmaster rear sight model with correct original multi-colored injection molded plastic grips w/thumbrest, clean bore, correct magazines (2), original instruction sheet, original colt screwdriver/tool in the box and original grease paper, correct brown fliptop box with label intact.
This grip coloration in injection molded plastic only appeared on guns in 1950 for about half the year's production before they changed to the dark brown grips and thus are considered to be hard to find.
Gun exhibits some very minor high edge wear and some minor handling marks. This firearm was imported and bears a discreet import mark.
