On Hold Sale Pending.Early Indian Wars US Springfield trapdoor model 1868 50-70 caliber army rifle dated 1869. Full length stock has numerous dents, scratch's and gouges as would be expected from a antique military rifle along with several faint but visible cartouches. The breach block is marked US 1869. The full length 32.5" barrel has both front and rear sights. Both sling swivels and cleaning rod are present. Metal parts have a brown patina. The 2 click lock and action function fine.
