Description:
This is a very interesting English African Big Game magazine rifle that must have been built for a hunter that knew what he wanted!  25&1/2" barrel, 14&3/8" LOP over a checkered butt, weighing 7&1/2 lbs. no recoil pad. The standing rear express sight is marked 100 - 300 and the folding is 500, the front is a nice Ivory inlay. I would assume by holding the front sight deep into the v of the rear that bullet impact would be 100 and holding a bit of light between the front and rear v would be 300 meters. The rifle has been well taken care of and I would say it's been blued and drilled and tapped for mounts and the checkering has been sharpened,"not flat top." This makes it much nicer to hold especially under recoil. There is a nice after-market rifle case for the rifle as well as 3 boxes of new RWS 404 brass.
