Description:
Not much is known about this particular gun other than it is one of those combination guns meant for use in the garden. It is chambered for the 9mm Flobert shot cartridge and a .22 rimfire, likely the .22 Short. The barrels are marked to indicate that Mauser M/71 powder (not to be confused with the Mauser Model 1871 rifle) should be used in this gun, which is a form of black powder. This is indicated by the marking “1gr N.G.P. M/71” on the left barrel. Despite the probable age, the bore of the .22 barrel is in good shape. The 9mm Flobert barrel has light pitting in some spots. It’s interesting to note that it uses straight rifling instead of the usual twist rifling. The stock had a crack on the right hand side at one point but it has since been repaired. There is also a small chip in the wood on either at the front were is meets the metal. There are a few dings in the wood but these are mostly minor. There is a long narrow channel in the wood on the left hand side of the stock but it is not a crack. The bluing is worn on the barrels to some extent but much of it does remain.
