Item Description
Firearms Unlimited LLC is proud to present this simply stunning Smith & Wesson Model 53-2 revolver chambered in .22 Remington Jet Magnum. The “Jet” as it’s sometimes called in the Smith & Wesson community is highly sought after by collectors. The 53 series was manufactured from 1961-1974. This 6in variant features a beautiful polished blue finish with checkered wood grips. With a 6 shot cylinder this revolver is capable of firing both the Jet magnum cartridge and 22 Long rifle, with a unique switch on the hammer for transitioning from centerfire to rimfire. Condition is excellent with only some minor handling marks and a bright and shiny bore. A Smith & Wesson blue box is included with this pistol, but does not appear to be the original one. So the new owner of this beauty can hit the range, included are (3) 50 round boxes of new production 22 Remington Jet Magnum ammo, worth $300 alone!
