Description:
This .45-70 Sharps - Model 1874 rifle has a blued tapered octagon 1-1/8" to 1" x 30" barrel with 1:18 twist that is fitted with a Lee Shavers Long Range Creedmore tang sight with windage and elevation in the base and a Spirit Level front globe sight. Also, includes a ladder rear sight. The bore is very good. Stamped on the top flat is Dixie Gun Works Inc Calibre 45-70 2 1/10. Both the P grade European Walnut buttstock and forend are in very good condition and mounted to the color case hardened action that has double set triggers. Comes with a color case hardened butt plate and sight inserts for the globe front sight. Length of pull is 14-1/4". Overall length is 47” and weight is 11.4 lbs. Our stock number is #P-32-90.
