Here's an exceptionally scarce 1937 Pre War Model 70 carbine in 30-06 caliber. S/N 11*** with matching scribed bolt in excellent original condition throughout. 96-97% Blue and Varnish. 20" barrel with an absolutely integral front sight ramp that is not a "contrived" or fake carbine. Bore and mechanical functions are excellent. Beautiful rust blued barrel, carbonum blued receiver, fine checkering, and the butter smooth mechanics typical of these wonderful early guns.
