We offer you a “WWII” Canadian Inglis Hi-Power Model MK. 1* Semi Automatic 9mm Pistol with the Gray Parkerized finish manufactured in 1943 with all matching numbers. In May of 1940 the Germans occupied Belgium and took over the Fabrique Nationale arms factory, original home of the FN Hi-Power. Having lost the FN factory to the Nazis, manufacturing for the allies was moved to Canada. John Inglis and Company in Canada started manufacturing the Hi-Power under the FN licensing agreement for the British, Canadian and Chinese contracts. This is one of those pistols with the barrel, slide, and frame all having matching serial numbers; 3T3713. The slide is marked " MK. 1*/ BROWNING-F.N. 9MM HP INGLIS, CANADA". On the right side are the crossed pennants added to the slide and frame with the Canadian C-Broad Arrow military property marking on the frame. The phosphate finish is in very fine condition as you can see. With some sharp edge wear, surface dings and handling marks. The grips are original and in very fine condition shape with some minor wear but free of cracks or chips. The mechanics appear to be in perfect working order and the bore is near excellent with no issues. It has the original “JI” marked magazine with it that is also in very fine condition and the pistol functions just fine. $1,299 This will be shipped fully insured to your FFL USPS Priority Mail for $30with signature required.
