"Made in 1898. 45-70 caliber with a 26" barrel. This gun is in very fine condition with 85% of the original Winchester blue. Wood is excellent. Bore is excellent. Action works well. This gun comes with a copy of a factory letter. It letters in 45-70 and mentions the sling swivels. This gun was returned several times to the factory several times, so consequently it has Winchester proofs. Very fine Winchester 1886 Rifle!
