Item Description
Firearms Unlimited LLC is proud to present this stunning Winchester Model 1887 Lever action shotgun chambered in 12ga. The model 1887 was the first lever action shotgun ever produced and has gained notoriety from its appearance in modern media such as Terminator 2. This all original 1887 features a 30in barrel with fixed Full choke, and a 13-inch length of pull. This 1887 bears a 3-digit serial number, dating it to 1887, the first year of production. Condition is above average for these guns, and especially for a 134-year-old antique. This gun retains almost all of its original finish, which has turned into a lovely patina over the years, and the wood furniture is equally nice, showing rich grain. The bore is nice with some minor frost and some pitting near the muzzle. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Winchester Model 1887 in all original condition. With many examples on the market having been refinished, it’s refreshing to see one in such original condition.
