This is a near mint Springfield Armory Model 1898 Krag Rifle in 30/40 Caliber. This rifle was replaced by the Model 1903 Springfield.
It has the S.A. Cartouche on the stock. And the round cartouche behind the trigger guard. It is complete and includes the origional Sling. This gun may never have left the Armory, or was used to train U.S. Troops preparing for the First World War. It is very fine condition and retains the origional Blued finish. Shipping is $30.00 to the U.S. only. It would be hard to find one as nice, for your collection.
