Smith and Wesson Pre 27 Class B Engraved 357magnum, 5" barrel, blue and nickel finish, two tone with a target hammer. Historical foundation letter dates the gun to 1954. Harry Jarvis is suggested to have been the engraver. Front sight insert is missing. The original hang tag from the Marshall Field Company is also included, it appears to be unfired.
