Beautiful early Lefever likely made in 1899, this sweet little FE 16ga made with original length 26" Damascus barrels, splinter forend, auto ejectors, double triggers, capped pistol grip buttstock, and original LAC Monogramed buttplate. Engraved in early FE pattern with goose in scroll on right, flying woodcock on left and flourishes of scroll on bottom and sides.
This gun has been completely restored by Bachelder Master Gunmakers and appears to have more than 95% of the restored finishes on wood and metal surfaces. Case colors are very nice, barrel pattern is excellent, and stock finish is just flat out gorgeous and accurate for Lefever quality. This gun is sound mechanically, ejectors are working well, bores are mostly bright and shiny and the gun is tight on the face.
