Description:
Parker Bros. PH grade Serial No. 106478. In unusually good original condition for a gun of this age. Vintage 1902 with 28” Twist barrels bored full (.030”) and full (0.025”). Excellent stock dimensions for a gun of this period: LOP 14¼”, DC 1 ½”, & DH 2 ½”. Weight: 6lb 12oz. The Twist barrels retain almost 100% of the original finish with some toning. All Parker guns, both fluid and Damascus steel, made at this time were proofed for nitro shells. However, only 1 oz loads are recommended. Case colors only in protected locations. Good original checkering and stock finish with only a few handling marks. Excellent original dog’s head butt plate. Other than the barrels, little original finish remains. This gun has been shot very little. Some prior owner scratched his serial number on the forend. Otherwise, a nice example of a hard-to-find gun. $1550
