"Made in 1898. 45-70 Caliber with a 26" barrel. The barrel of the this gun has been cleaned and it has a nice even light brown patina. Frame is a mottled gray patina. Wood is very good as refinished. The caliber marking has been restamped, but the bore looks original. Very good affordable Winchester 1886 Rifle!
