The Kimber Mountain Ascent is an exceedingly lightweight bolt action rifle made to do what it's name implies- ascend mountains. Built on the 84L stainless steel action that utilizes a Mauser claw extracter & 3 position wing safety, the Kimber 84L Mountain Ascent offers a light contour, stainless steel fluted barrel that provides accuracy and low maintenance. The reinforced carbon fiber stock with soft touch treatments to enhance grip comes in Gore Optifade Open Country camo that blends into a wide range of habitats. This rifle includes a Zeiss Conquest HD5 3-15x42 rifle scope, rings & bases in the same camo providing an aesthetically pleasing uniform look. Dimensions are as follows: BBL. 25 1/2" WT. 6lbs. 12oz.
