Browning Superposed 12 gauge O/U shotgun. This gun is not a Browning USA import. All work, engraving and carving was done in Europe by unknown artisans.
Built with 28” barrels choked skeet/skeet. Round knob/long tang which is typical for a gun made in 1960. It is the heavy floral engraving pattern on the frame and the similar floral carving on the stock that sets this gun apart from any other.
Inscribed just ahead of the trigger guard in a banner is: WAFFEN BOCK/FRANKFURT M
The stock has a 14 ¼” LOP with neutral cast, 1 ½” DAC & 2 ½” DAH weighing 7 lbs. 8 oz.
