Winchester Model of 1894 Sporting Rifle .32/40. This rifle was special ordered with round Barrel and Button magazine. The serial number of this example is 481381 placing date of manufacture in 1909. Overall condition is fine with the Barrel and Receiver retaining 70-75% of the original untouched factory blue finish. The bore is near perfect and will rate an 9 on a 1 to 10 scale. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is very good with no breaks or crack repairs. The front and rear sights are correct and original to this"Special Order" rifle.
