Daniel Defense has developed a ground-breaking platform engineered from muzzle to buttstock for the 7.62x51mm enthusiast – the DD5 Rifle. The performance-driven design features an innovative four-bolt system that securely fastens free-floating CHF barrel and KeyMod handguard attachments without a barrel nut. A Geissele SSA® two-stage precision trigger with smooth 2.5-lb. take-up and clean 2-lb. break allows precise and accurate trigger control whether shooting longer distances or close-quarters. Bolt and carrier deliver an oversized cam pin, enhanced extractor geometry and dual ejectors for reliability. Lower receiver provides an integral oversized trigger guard and flared magazine well for SR-25 type magazines. Other features include an ambidextrous safety selector, magazine catch and bolt release. 7.62 x 51mm NATO
