Description:
Good shape overall but shooter grade for sure. While the metal appears to be in great shape, it does have some handling marks and minor scratches. Judging from the reduced depth and definition of the roll markings it is very likely this example was reblued at some point. The furniture is the biggest letdown with this example. The wood started off as the basic plain "trim" level but a previous owner decided to checker it; and didn't do a real great job. The checkering has areas and lines that aren't exactly parallel to each other and run across other lines where they shouldn't. To make things a bit worse, there are a pair of cracks in the forend. The recoil pad is no doubt not original to the firearm. As was stated earlier this is clearly not a collector grade example of the model; but can be taken to the range or such for some fun and/or sport. 12 Gauge
