Saddle ring carbine. Manufactured in 1915. The Model 1895 was the first Winchester rifle to have a box magazine under the action instead of a tubular design. This made the rifle safely able to chamber spitzer style bullets. This model was also the last of the lever action rifles to be designed by John Browning.
