We offer you an “Antique” Adams & Co. of London Martini-Zeller .360 Rook Rifle circa 1881-1894 serial number “3”? The top flat inscribed “ADAMS & Co., 32 FINSBURY PLACE SOUTH LONDON” which is the address on their firearms that were manufactured from 1881 to 1894. The rifle was built on the Martini Patent and uses a hinged breech design. It wears a 25 1/8 inch octagon barrel that has an excellent bore with no issues. The fixed rear sight is marked “50 YDS” the folding is marked “100”. The metal appears to have been refinished some time ago and is in very fine condition. The bluing is in excellent condition as you can see. There is very fine scroll engraving on the receiver and bottom metal as shown. The stock is solid with no cracks with engraved steel heel-and-toe plates with some pitting as you can see. The stock shows marks and dings from use or storage the last 127 years and wears the original “horn” tip. The bottom of the receiver and barrel are marked “3”. I’m not sure if that was the serial number or assembly number. $750 This will be shipped fully insured directly to you where allowed for $60 with signature required.
