Description:
Exceptionally clean and all original Remington pump rifle in caliber 35 Remington. The wood is excellent, and the blue is too. Its possible that this has not been shot since it was sold as its just that clean. Bore is perfect. This is the first one I have ever seen that is this clean. It is too bad that we don’t have the box for it. SN is 27868 and the barrel date code is CJ. This corresponds to April of 1940, making it a pre-war Remington rifle. There are minor scuffs or dings on the stock from being moved around in the gun safe and the rear sight’s blue is beginning to fade. The photos are accurate so please look closely. Note that the magazine tube still has all its original blue. Also note that the muzzle end of the barrel has not gone white from sliding in and out of gun cases, nor has the barrel crown gone white from having been shot. The metal butt plate is intact and without any damage, but it does need to be cleaned in between the checkering. Must ship to an FFL, cards add 3%. You will pay the actual shipping to your dealer.
