Description:
This Browning 6.35 mm (.25 caliber) semiautomatic pistol (aka Baby Browning) was manufactured in 1966.  This is according to Browning’s “support/date-your-firearm” webpage for the .25 automatic pistol which has a serial-number listing for the pistols manufactured from 1954 through 1969.

The pistol has Browning’s standard blue finish and orignal plastic grips.  The overall length of the gun is 4 inches.  The barrel length is two inches.  The overall height is 2.75 inches. The total weight with its empty magazine is 9.5 ounces.

The left side of the slide is marked BROWNING ARMS COMPANY (first line) and MADE IN BELGIUM (second line).  The serial number appears on the left side of the frame, just below the slide and above the trigger.  Just below the serial number is a large S indicating the safe position of the safety lever.  Also on the left side is an F on the forward top of the trigger guard.  On the right side of the gun, the Nitro proof (P.V under an upright walking lion) appears at the top of the trigger guard.  Above that is a U with a + above it.  On the barrel, viewed through the ejection port, is an oval topped with a crown; inside the oval appears the initials ELG with a star beneath.  Above the crowned oval is the same U and + sign and Nitro proof that appears on the trigger guard.  Below these markings on the barrel is CAL 6m/m35.  All these markings are visible on two of the photos.

The condition of this gun is 95 percent.  The bluing is in very good condition showing wear mainly along the edges of the slide and other high areas, mostly likely due to carry.  The original plastic Browning grip panels are in excellent condition.  The right panel has a small mark across the bottom left corner of the panel, while the left grip panel has a very small mark at the bottom right of the panel.  One magazine shows some bluing wear due to insertion and removal from the magazine well.  The second magazine looks new with no wear to the bluing.  The floor plate and follower of this second magazine have slightly different designs than the other magazine and is probably not original to ths gun.

In addition to the two magazines, the gun comes with an after-market fabric and leather case.  There are no box, other papers, or other accessories.

The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details.  Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better.

The buyer pays $20 for USPS Priority mail and $9.70 for insurance.

The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as they are like cash.  I will ship the pistol immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL.  I will also accept a personal check and other type of money orders, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks.  I do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal.
