Listing another Savage takedown rifle of mine, a 303 model G, serial 258674 Mfg’d in 1924, after 1920 they have the continuous threaded barrel requiring 7 full turns for disassembly, the G has factory Checkering a plastic cap on pistol grip and metal butt plate with Chief logo . Nice original little rifle which functions fine, shoots well, I fired three rounds through it today at 80 yards , very respectable ! Round counter works, equipped with what I'm thinking are factory open rear sights. I took numerous pictures including the receiver area which may have a very small hairline crack that like so many do. Rifles never been re- blued or wood redone. All numbers match , breaks down easily , great little deer rifle with a lot of knockdown power. I'm asking $950.00 shipped in the lower 48. I will ship only to a FFL you provide or your C&R if you have one. I'm a collector that's simply trying to thin my collection. Payment by USPS money order or a Cashiers check.
