Description:
Rifle is in good condition for its age. A large amount of the finish on the receiver is gone and the metal has some areas that feel a bit rough. Bluing on the barrel looks to have been replaced with a dark patina. Metal has a few rough spots but no apparent active rust. The stock has fared less well but is still in decent shape. The entirety of the furniture is adorned with nicks, scratches, and dents of all levels of severity. While there do not appear to be any cracks, the comb of the stock near the rear has a large patch or repair work (see pictures). Sources seem to indicate 1902 as the year of manufacture. The stock cartouche is a little hard to make out but seems to collaborate the date. .30-40 Krag
