WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY .32 RF CALIBER. NO. 1 ½ REVOLVER, C. 1870’S. Five shot, fluted cylinder,
SINGLE action, SCARCE iron frame revolver with a 3 1/4” barrel.
Barrel stamped “WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY, CT. U.S.A./PATENTED MAY, 23, 1871".
Excellent hard rubber grips with the "W" monogram. LIKE NEW bore and chambers. 99%+ Original Nickle Finish.
Cocks, rotates and locks up perfectly. Serial number 4288 B, matching throughout.
These early "Whitneyvillle" spur trigger revolvers, in MINTY condition, are considered highly desirable by collectors.
