Here we have a beautiful and stunning early K98k mauser made by J.P. Sauer in 1936, when the German manufacturers could take their time in making the highest quality K98k's ever produced. This one easily falls into that category with a beautiful walnut stock, finely crafted metal, and deep attractive bluing. ALL the metal matches on this gun, including butt plate and action screws. The stock is a J.P. Sauer stock, and is ironiclly only 502 off from the serial number of the gun. With an amazing bore, this is a very high quality and collectible K98k, surely a keeper.
