Description:
Here we have a very attractive Nazi Gustloff-Werke K98k Mauser 337 code, produced in 1940. This early German Mauser has retained beautiful bluing throughout the rifle, with light but honest wear, featuring a well preserved laminate stock that is in very good condition. The stock is mismatched to the rifle but matching to itself, but is likely a field replacement because the buttplate is numbered to the rifle and not the stock. Metal of the rifle is matching minus the bolt, magazine follower, and bolt latch. The bolt is mismatched to the rifle but matching to itself, although is renumbered to (force)match itself by a private owner(missing the letter block on the bolt handle). Still otherwise a very nice German K98k, with a great bore, making it a great shooter. Rifle comes with the photograph in last picture, iron cross NOT included. A good starter rifle for any collection, much nicer than a Russian Capture k98k or likewise. Feel free to contact for more info and pictures. Thanks!
