Attractive Colt 1862 Conversion Type II fitted with a 4 1/2 inch barrel, one-piece wood grips, ejector rod housing with ejector, spring loaded loading gate, is full nickel plated and chambered in .38 Rim Fire. The 5-shot single action revolver is in excllent original condition, retaining 90-95% of its nickel finish, with most loss on the trigger guard and back-strap, due to flaking. The grip retain most all of their finish and the hammer retains traces of its original color case-hardened finish. The bore is in fine condition, with visible rifling and little in the way of corrosion. The action functions perfectly and most screw-heads are unmolested.
