GERMAN PERCUSSION CONVERSION FLINTLOCK DRAGOON PISTOL CA. 1770’S. 18” o/a with 11” round .65 cal. barrel. Brass mounts. American Revolutionary War era converted in the mid 1800’s to percussion. Good overall with lock in working order. Trigger guard tang has been shortened and ramrod modern replacement. Nice stock with a few minor hairlines on forend. Early style carving about the lock and tang. Quite handsome. Type used by mounted German troops in the Revolution.
