Description:
5very high condition Marlin 336A deluxe built in 1949. This rifle is in great all original condition. It retains 99% of the original blue finish and 98% of the original wood finish. The stock and forend are hand checkered walnut and are free of any cracks or damage. The 24" barrel is chambered for 30-30 Win and has a mint bore. Marked JM on the right side of the barrel. The deluxe models came with sling swivels. this one has a period correct leather sling with QD attachments. the receiver has the matted "waffle top". These early deluxe rifles are hard to find in this condiion as most of them saw hard use. This is a classic deer rifle that will only go up in value over time. C&R eligible.
