Antique matchlock fowler. The lock is estimated early 18th century. Gun is approximately 51" long. Lock is still functional with dark brown patina. Stock has carved handle with beautiful dark patina throughout. Some homemade barrel clamp repairs over the life of the piece. There are mutliple examples nearly identical in many museums. It definately is a showpiece and conversation starter.
