"Serial number 21567. Made in 1881. 45-60 caliber with a 28" barrel. Very nice sharp gun with good original blue that rates around 40% on the barrel with the remainder of the metal toning into a smooth dark bluish gray patina. Frame is mostly patina with some original finish mostly in protected areas. Wood is very good with normal handling wear. Action works well. Bore has visible rifling with some pitting. Good honest 1876 Rifle!
