FREE SHIPPING! Very good condition Remington Model 700 BDL rifle in caliber 30-06 Springfield with the standard 22" barrel. Date code "DS" puts production in September 1969, with a serial number of 6278164. One-piece walnut stock has the 2nd variation "ribbon style" checkering, correct grip cap and black fore end cap, all having the white line spacers, with the butt stock shortened to keep the correct length of pull and fit a Pachmyr White Line rubber butt pad, top of receiver factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting, 5 shot capacity, two-stage safety on right side of receiver (safe and fire), floor plate release at front of trigger guard, open sights.
CONDITION: Receiver shows evidence of prior scope mounting with the filler screws are present so it is ready for you to mount your favorite scope/bases/rings combination. Original front and rear sights, including the front sight hood, are intact. Stock is sound with no splits or cracks, just normal light marks from hunting and range use. Excellent bright bore. Safety and floor plate release work as designed. Bolt is serial-number matched to the rifle. Barrel retains 80% original blue with some thinning on top, and the receiver retain 95% bright original blue. Smooth, tight action. Grades NRA Modern Very Good. Remington rifles continue to rapidly appreciate in value since the factory closed two years ago (which is about 45 minutes from my house and several friends are still out of work due to the shutdown), so don't miss out. Will make a nice hunter/shooter for someone.
