SALE PENDING.....1879 vintage Winchester Model 1866 rifle, serial number 152162. 24" round barrel with full length magazine tube. Standard blade front and fold down ladder rear sights. Chambered in .44 Henry rimfire. Brass frame with 4th model, iron forearm cap and buttplate. Left side of frame shows factory plugged saddle ring staple holes. CONDITION: Very good overall. Frame has slightly rounded corners with an artificial "patina" added. Barrel and magazine tube have been cleaned to a light grey/brown patina. Wood is sound showing moderate wear. Action is tight.
