Description:
Savage model 99R in 250-3000 Savage. Built in 1955,this rifle has a 24" barrel with a mint bore. The rifle is in excellent original condition retaining 98% of the original blue and wood finish. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage other than a few very light handling marks. The rifle is factory drilled and tapped for a scope and has Weaver bases and 1" rings installed. Other features include hand checkered walnut stock and forend,cartridge counter,cocking indicator,lever safety,engine turned bolt,aling swivels,and a factory steel buttplate. This is a classic 99 with modern features in a hard to find diesireable caliber. C&R eligible.
