EUROPEAN Style Percussion Rifle-Musket
Here we present an antique European Style Percussion Rifle-Musket, made circa the mid-19th Century. Its stout round barrel is in a massive .72 caliber. The sling swivels indicate a likely possibility that this example was used for military use. Though no way of knowing for sure, many of these European firearms were imported to the United States and the Confederacy during the American Civil War. This musket would have made a formidable weapon to use with its .72 caliber bore.
The overall condition is good. Strong action. Matching patina on metal parts. Good bore. Beautiful, solid full stock with expected amounts of wear. Here is a great example piece for the collection!
