Payment Types Accepted: money order Description: Here is a solid Winchester lever gun made when the west was really wild,1875. Standard round barrel, 24", with a bore that has some roughness to it but still decent rifling- probably a 5 on a 1-10 scale. Metal has some dings but overall not bad. Bluing has turned patina. The wood has some minor dings and still has a good share of original finish, no cracks or gouges. Excellent wood/metal fit. Screwheads are in prefect condition- don't look to have ever been tuned. Barrel lettering is feint but there; other lettering is fine. Action seems to work as it should. The little lever lock on the lower tang is the type used on 1866 rifles. A solid old 1873 that was around before Custer and Wild Bill met their doom. Shipping and insurance $100 to your door in most states.
