Description:
Original Government Colt 1911 Slide. Good unused condition. See photos for details.
Does have very light rust staining, no pitting, smooth surface. This was the first fully heat treated Colt slide and is called the "Hard-Slide". Made in early 1950's.
It is rollmarked for Commercial use. Colt pulled them out of production before polishing for the Government Model, Parkerized them and the Ordnance Dep't. accepted them as replacements.
