"Made in the 1840s – 1850s. 28 caliber with 3 ½" 10 shot barrels. This is the scarcer model with the ribbed barrels. Frame is engraved. Barrels have a dark brown patina and frame has a light gray patina. Grips are very fine original ivories. The recoil shield may be an old replacement. Very fine desirable Pecare & Smith Pepperbox!
